Safe work equipment: We ensure that our employees have suitable equipment to carry out their work in a technically safe and accident-free manner.
Say STOP: At volenergy, personal responsibility for occupational safety is an important factor. Our employees are encouraged to say "STOP" in dangerous situations and, if necessary, stop work to avoid hazards.
Instructions to suppliers: We inform our suppliers and subcontractors about our contractor management and the applicable safety rules. Potential hazards are identified, actions are implemented and conduct in the event of an emergency is defined – all before work begins.
Learning from mistakes: We analyse any errors and accidents together with the people involved, so they can be avoided in future. In a preventative approach, near-misses are also reported and processed.
